Spinal Tumor Surgery

Spinal tumors are serious and can potentially be life threatening.  Even benign tumors can cause problems with the normal function of the spine. Surgery is typically required to remove the tumor. Surgery can be from the front, back or side depending upon the location of the spinal tumor.

Special care needs to be taken to address issues like blood loss. Special instrumentation will likely be need to address fixation of the spine.

Spine Physicians Institute treats back pain, neck pain, herniated discs, stenosis and other spine problems. Patients come to the spine center from across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Dr. Sethuraman is one of few Mayo Clinic fellowship-trained spine surgeons in the North Texas area. A fellowship is the highest level of medical education in the U.S.
