Kobe Bryant Out with Back Issue
Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers sat out against the Miami Heat in Tuesday’s 101-88 loss.
“I had trouble walking. I’ve been dealing with the back a little bit during training camp. Today I couldn’t shake it free,” said 37-year-old Bryant of his back.
This was the first game Bryant missed in what could be his last NBA season.
Lakers coach Byron Scott said, “When It’s the back, you are concerned. He said he wanted to come over and get some treatment to see how it felt before the game.”
Bryant is attributing his back problem to “wear and tear” from a long career. He is currently in is 20th season in the NBA and last year in his contract with the Lakers
