Pediatric Spine Surgery

Pediatric spine surgery is used to correct problems with the spinal cord that exist from the time of birth in children and adolescents. These problems are known as “congenital anomalies” and include scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis, along with multiple other syndromes and conditions that cause or are associated with spinal deformity. Our goal is to provide, safe, effective, state of the art treatment for these conditions through highly skilled and experienced pediatric orthopedic spinal surgeons. Patients can get the answers to any questions that they might have about their child’s spinal condition at any of our office locations conveniently located to the Dallas, Irving, Red Oak, Plano, Southlake, Grapevine, Colleyville and Duncanville areas.

Our Philosophy of Care

Early detection of spinal problems and deformities through primary care physicians or school screening is of vital importance in the treatment of any patient with spinal deformity. Once detected, scoliosis treatment can be provided through several avenues which include observation, bracing, or surgery. Other conditions such as spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis can be treated with physical therapy and conservative management in most cases.  Our physicians are dedicated to identifying and developing safe, successful and cost-effective treatments for scoliosis and other spinal conditions.
