Faith Hill Recovering from Neck Surgery

Many fans had no idea that Faith Hill, a 47-year-old, five-time Grammy Award winner and country music star is recovery from neck surgery. “Just saw Faith Hill on the Red Carpet. Anybody know what the big scar on her neck is from?” one supporter wrote. Another added, “Faith Hill has quite the neck scar! Hope she’s OK.” Hill had surgery in January to correct damage due to an old injury. Doctors say she underwent an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion, which is more common in elderly patients, but can occur in younger patients who have experienced some kind of trauma. Hill isn’t speaking publicly about her surgery, but it isn’t slowing her down. She attended several parties following her husband Tim McGraw’s Oscar tribute to country music singer Glen Campbell. Sources add that Hill has been going to physical therapy and that her recovery is going well.
